What is bacteriostatic water: WATERMED (bacteriostatic water for injection) is a sterile solution developed exclusively for use with drugs that must be diluted or dissolved in water prior to administration. WATERMED (bacteriostatic water for injection) is a highly purified, sterilized water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which is used to dilute or dissolve drugs to obtain a suitable consistency for administration. The pH value of bacteriostatic water (BW) is approx. 5.7.

How to use Bacteriostatic Water: This compound is only for diluting or dissolving drugs intended for intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the drug to be administered.

• Protect from light. Do not freeze.
