What is nebivolol: NEBIMED 5 (Nebivolol HCL) is a highly selective β1-receptor blocker that exerts a cardioselective effect by causing vasodilation through nitric oxide.

It improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate.

How to use NEBIMED: The usual dose is 5 mg once a day, with or without food. The maximum dose is 10 mg per day, in two separate doses, with or without food.

It is recommended to start with a dose of 1.25 mg/day, increase after a week to 2.5 mg/day, then to 5 mg/day, and if necessary to 10 mg.

The therapeutic effect on blood pressure appears after one or two weeks of treatment.

Special storage precautions: Store below 30°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
